Sonu Sood Set To Raise 10 Crore For The Needy; Mortgages His 8 Properties
As per reports Sonu Sood has put his 8 properties on mortgage to raise funds worth Rs 10 crore for the ones in need
In the last couple of months we have witnessed Bollywood actor Sonu Sood doing some amazing work towards the ones in need. The actor had hit headlines for his humanitarian work, from arranging transport for the labour class stuck in Mumbai due to lockdown to making sure students in need for financial help in order to pursue their education are met and more, the actor bagged a special place in citizen's hearts. Now as per reports in Hindustan Times, the actor has mortgaged 8 properties in town for Rs. 10crore. The documents were accessed by Zapkey.com.
Reportedly, these 8 properties include two shops and six flats. Documents for the same were signed on September 15, followed by being registered on November 24. The said property is located on AB Nayar Road, near Iskcon Temple in Mumbai, followed by the actor paying Rs 5 lakh as the registration fees, in order to secure a loan of 10 crore. Ritesh Mehta, one of the senior most people of the company, JLL India, praised the actor for his thoughtful move.
He was quoted saying, “Such a philanthropic gesture is unheard of. While these premium properties will continue to be owned by the actor and his wife and would continue to receive a monthly rental, they may have to pay interest and principal against the Rs 10 crore loan.”
